Here are the quick steps I use to get some solid keyword done, which has worked for time….
My keyword research strategy
-Use keyword research tools
-Find keywords related to your website or the products you are promoting.
-Make a keyword list of all the words that relate to your niche/blog
-Don’t go too broad with your words, but keep them related to your niche. For example if you are in the plasma television niche, then don’t add Computer related keywords etc.
-When you have these keywords, these are what each blog post will be based on, 1 keyword per blog post.
-Get a writer (or yourself) to write some articles around the keywords. 1 article per keyword, so 30 keywords will give you 30 articles.
-Upload these articles to your blog.
-Build some links to these blog posts- as some inner links
The aim of this is, after search engines pick up and index these pages, and their ranking increase, we hope that when people search for these keyword phrases in the search engines that your blog post will show up in the results.
Positioning and tweaking your blog or site for the search engine rankings is called search engine optimization.
